Our Values

Our Story

As a mom of three little ones, I searched high and low for “Parent and Me” classes that were academic based. Most that I found were related to music, physical activity, and other extracurriculars. To my surprise, “Parent and Me” preschool classes were incredibly challenging to find, and the ones we did find were packed with 30-plus kids and parents.

Hearing the frustrations of my fellow parent community, I decided to start a little co-op in my house where I would gather the families together and teach a preschool-based curriculum. Never in a million years did I think my little class would bloom into what is now known as Sparrow Home Academy

Fast forward to today, Sparrow Home Academy is a thriving “Parent and Me” play-based, preparatory preschool and early education program offering an intimate classroom setting in a loving home environment.

Who We Are

Sparrow Home Academy is a “Parent and Me” play-based, preschool readiness and early education program. Our goal is to help young children build independence, community, self-esteem, and confidence at their own pace. With the small classroom size, home environment, and the involvement of the parent/guardian, we aim to empower your child with knowledge while having fun!

Our classes are geared to simulate a day at preschool, or an early education program, with the freedom to grow in attention span and cognitive comprehension. We do not expect your child to sit and listen the whole time; rather, we work to help your child increase in their engagement and knowledge.

What We Believe

We believe all children are a gift from God and grow and develop at different paces. At Sparrow Home Academy, we are dedicated to supporting parents/guardians to nature their children to be kind, self-aware, brave, and imaginative individuals.

A Look Inside the Academy

Meet Mary

/ Director and Founder /

Mrs. Mary Quach became the preschool director of her local church in her early twenties. She has always had a love and heart for children and worked with many families as their primary childcare provider. After a trip to an underdeveloped nation and witnessing the firsthand impact of poverty amongst the most vulnerable—the children—Mary has devoted her life to inspire, build, and empower the next generation. Mrs. Mary Quach received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a Minor in International Relations and later went to Pepperdine University to earn her Master’s in Public Policy with a focus again in International Relations. Soon after earning her Master’s, Mary became the Vice President for an international nonprofit ministry, which had a large focus on caring for vulnerable children around the world.

Today, Mrs. Mary Quach and her best friend and husband, Steven, are proud parents of three little girls. It was her children who inspired her to create what has now become Sparrow Home Academy.
