Location + Space
635 Dewey Ave, San Gabriel, Ca 91776
Sparrow Home Academy currently meets in a private home in the city of San Gabriel, CA.
Ample parking is available on the street for our attendees.
Two main rooms have been dedicated to the school: one for circle time and free play and the other for the lessons. Please note that the programs are held in a home with three small children. We will always provide a safe and sanitary environment; however, the presence of the homeowners childrenโs and personal possessions will be evident in all spaces.
Playground and Courtyard:
We offer a commercial playground with safe turf and a huge lot full of toddler-friendly toys, including water, sand, and other sensory bins.
Safety and Sanitation
Due to the nature of the property, all children must be supervised by their parent/caregiver at all times. All diaper changing and potty accompanying must be done with the supervision of the childโs parent or caregiver
Because we meet in a home, we currently cannot cater to food or pet allergies. A class bunny and a friendly Newfoundland dog is present on the property in a separate, safe area away from the children.
We strive to offer a clean and healthy environment. Due to the homeownersโ chemical sensitivities, the cleaners are all plant based and non-bleach.
Accessibility
We sadly cannot accommodate many physical special needs due to the stairs on our property. As a private home, we do not have an elevator or chair lift system. We hope to find a facility in the near future that will have ample accessibility for all of our students.
We welcome special needs students but require a meeting with the parents so there is a clear academic plan in place that serves both the student and the class.
Ready for the Sparrow Home Academy experience?
We are excited that you would like to get to know us and check out our program! We are a year-round school and allow new students to enroll per month. Please note that there is limited space due to meeting in a home. Priority enrollment and admission will go to current students and then their siblings.
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 ($75 for each additional sibling) and application must be submitted prior to enrolling in any program.
